06 / Wallet

“Where did the pocket money go?”

Keep a separate cash balance and record purchases, so you can look back at what was spent. Set spending or cash-redemption limits. StarKeeper records money; it does not move funds.

For the moments that make parenting feel hard.

Make the rules fit your family

A fixed chore list won’t suit every home. Customize chores, habits, positive behaviors, consequences, prizes and points anytime.

Different kids. Different goals.

Each child gets their own tasks, points and rewards. In their kid view, they can see what’s next and check in themselves for activities you allow.

Give effort something to build toward

When interest fades, make progress visible with weekly goals and challenges—and rewards your child helps choose.

Keep caregivers on the same page

Avoid piecing together who did what. Share access so caregivers can record activities and follow the same progress.

Missed a day? Keep going.

Busy days happen. Add a missed activity or correct an earlier entry without abandoning the record.

Notice the progress, too

Hard days can overshadow small wins. Look back at activity history, points and goals on iPhone or Android; iPhone widgets offer a quick view.

Keep pocket money clear

Record cash rewards and purchases in a separate wallet. Follow the balance and spending history together.

See today’s plan without opening the app

Add an iPhone Home Screen widget to see the schedule beside routine progress and the weekly goal.

Make growth a family thing

Create a grown-up profile for your own goals. When you enable access, kids can recognize your efforts too.

A few things parents ask

What is StarKeeper?

StarKeeper is a family chore and habit app with customizable tasks, points, challenges and rewards. Manage separate profiles for your children, share access with caregivers, and create grown-up profiles too.

Is StarKeeper free?

StarKeeper is free to use right now. You do not need a payment card to get started.

Can my child check off their own tasks?

Yes, if you enable child check-ins. Children can record permitted activities for today. Items requiring parent confirmation stay parent-recorded; parents handle reward redemption and past-day corrections.

Does it block screen time?

No. Allowance timers and counters track usage. StarKeeper does not block apps or lock a device.

Can I track pocket money?

Yes. The cash wallet records a balance and purchases separately from points. StarKeeper does not connect to a bank or transfer money.

Where can I use it?

Use StarKeeper in a browser on your phone, tablet or computer. iPhone and Android beta apps are also available through the download page.

Can I use StarKeeper as a chore chart for multiple kids?

Yes. Each child has a separate profile with their own chores, habits, points and rewards. Switch between profiles in the same family account, and copy an existing setup to get a sibling started.

How do points and rewards work?

Parents choose which tasks and behaviors earn points and set the point cost of each prize. Children can follow their balance and work toward a chosen reward, such as a family outing. Parents redeem the prize when it is earned.

Can I customize my child’s daily routine?

Yes. Start with an age-based list or create your own chores and habits, such as brushing teeth or tidying up. Change tasks, points and rewards anytime. You can also add schedules, weekly goals and challenges.

Start with one routine you’re tired of repeating.
